Bent of the River Audubon Center CLOSED

Our trails remain open, but facilities are not available. Please stay safe!

Dear Friend of Audubon,

The health of our visitors, supporters, and staff is of utmost importance to the Bent of the River Audubon Center. In an effort to help protect our community, we are following recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local governments and the center building is closed until further notice. All center events and programs are also canceled at this time. Please check our events web page regularly for the latest updates.

Bent of the River Audubon Center’s trails are open. If you plan to visit, you are welcome to explore outside, but we will not have restrooms or accommodations available—please plan accordingly. Contributions to help support the center during your visit may be made online at or in a donation box outside the center building at the start of the trails.

During this difficult time, nature can provide us with respite and soothing experiences. We encourage you to spend time outdoors, and to be safe and healthy. We are monitoring developments of this situation closely and taking precautions wherever possible. We appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your dedication to Audubon and protecting nature!

Best regards,
Leslie Kane
Center Director
