Wildflower Walk

July 13, 2019 - Southbury, CT

Our meadows are bursting with activity! Come join us for a summer day walk through our meadows and fields as we explore the beautiful wildflowers blooming at the Bent. We'll provide a one-page sheet for everyone, listing some common July wildflowers here at the sanctuary as well as give some tips on best ways to identify them. Once we complete our walk, we will share materials to make “seed bombs” that include seeds from the very wildflowers we just learned about. The seed bomb will be yours to keep, to plant in your garden or corner of your yard to give it a pop of color and help out our local pollinators!

  • All ages are welcome
  • Pre-registration is required
  • $5 donation is requested

For questions and to pre-register, please contact Kate Pratt at kpratt@audubon.org or 203-405-9113.
