Looking to add beauty to outdoor spaces, while helping birds and wildlife too? Join Audubon for an online, interactive course focused on bird-friendly plants for your home landscape. With the right plants, any space—from a small container on your patio to an acre of your backyard—can become more bird-friendly.

In this four-part workshop, birding expert and naturalist Ken Elkins, Audubon Connecticut's Community Conservation Manager, will provide an in-depth look at the things you can do to make your outdoor spaces more bird-friendly for our year-round avian residents as well as feathered friends who stopover during their migration journeys.

The four sessions will take place every Tuesday from May 19 thru June 9.

  • Week 1 (May 19): Plants to Attract Your Favorite Birds
  • Week 2 (May 26): Container Gardening With Native Plants
  • Week 3 (June 2): Attracting Birds by the Seasons
  • Week 4 (June 9): Creating Mini-Habitats in Your Outdoor Spaces

Upon registration, you will receive a link to login into the online classroom.

For questions, please contact Kate Pratt at Kathleen.Pratt@audubon.org or 203-405-9113.

Please note, by signing up for this webinar series you are consenting to receive emails from Audubon about this program and our conservation work. You may opt-out of our emails at any time.
