UPDATE FROM Connecticut Community Foundation:
"We are back up and ready to Give Local! While we regret yesterday's website technical issues, we remain committed to raising awareness and funds for local nonprofits today and always. Donations are currently being processed securely for all 215 participating Give Local nonprofits.
We've made some adjustments to the event to make up for lost time:
* Give Local Greater Waterbury & Litchfield Hills has been extended to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5
* All prizes and bonus funds will still be awarded! The revised prize list is here.
* The Give Local website will update dollars raised and prizes awarded intermittently (rather than in real time).Thank you for your generosity and your patience.
We were off to a great start yesterday; let's pick up where we left off and finish on a high note!"
Hosted on May 3-4, 2016 by the Connecticut Community Foundation, this 36-hour online community giving event is an amazing opportunity to make the most of your contributions. Every dollar donated to the Audubon Center Bent of the River from 7 a.m. on May 3rd to 7 p.m. on May 4th will be amplified with bonus funds provided by the Connecticut Community Foundation and Give Local sponsors.
Help us make the most of all our resources and have a little fun as we work together to try to win special cash prizes during the event! For more information and to give, visit our Give Local page (https://givelocalccf.org/npo/audubon-center-bent-of-the-river-1).

May 4 Noon—Sweet Spot
We offer something for everyone, and over the past few years our Center staff has been responsible for developing exceptional materials and programs connecting or reconnecting older adults with birds and nature. Support our work with children, teens, adults, and elders in our neighboring communities by timing your gift just after 12 noon on May 4. Southbury’s Sweet Spot award will be given to the first Southbury based organization to receive a donation after 12 noon on May 4 from Southbury Community Trust Fund.
