Superb Owl Prowl

Friday, March 01, 2019
5:30pm - 7:30pmSouthbury, Connecticut

Location Details

Audubon Center at Bent of the River

185 East Flat Hill Road, Southbury, 06488

The group will meet in the entrance parking lot of the Audubon Center Bent of the River.  Please arrive 10 minutes early, so that we can start on time.
Please dress for the weather- warm boots, hats, and gloves. We will have to stand still and quiet at times while calling and waiting for an owl to respond and possibly come close to the group. Also, bring a flashlight, though be prepared that we will limit the use of flashlights to maintain our night eyesight while still being aware of trail conditions and safety concerns.  If you have your own binoculars, they may help but not always useful in the dark.  Photographing any potential owl encounters will not be possible.

Attendance is by registration only.  Please contact Kate Pratt at or 203-405-9113 if you have any questions.
